Out of a love of baking and cake decorating from our tiny cottage studio and café that served delicious home baked goods, grew our beautiful, unique cottage and villa venue that took on a life of its own and lead us to where we are today. As the demand for personalised celebration events grew, we had to refocus our vision to ensure we maintained our high standards while continuing to enjoy our surroundings and guests.

Persimmon Lane is renowned for its unique high tea experiences and other personalised events. Celebrations are often held in our families historic beautifully restored gazebo surrounded by scented David Austin roses.

Persimmon Lane Villa features a rustic but elegant venue, with stunning high ceilings that hold our large, much admired wrought iron chandelier that can be dressed beautifully. Gardens where long floral set tables under weeping trees bring a relaxed setting to any occasion.

Our cosy cottage can be utilised for smaller more intimate occasions. Large covered balconies are surrounded by mature fruit and stunning specimen trees while the ever-changing seasons, bring our amazing varied bird life that adore sharing our delicious Persimmons in Autumn. The abundant warm colours of Autumn and Winter are followed by our stunning Spring blossom trees, whilst Summer showcases our lovely scented rose, hydrangea and flower filled gardens. Persimmon Lane has grown through stages into a venue enjoyed and loved by all who visit.

Rose, with her family have loved creating, developing and sharing their inviting surroundings. Rose comes from a travel, marketing and event management role and  brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
